An evening walk

Walk and talk

If you start any coaching process with me and we are geographically close to each other, I propose a coaching process that includes walking and talking together.

Although some still consider the idea of walking and talking relatively new, several studies have confirmed the benefits of talking while taking a walk, in finding solutions to the problems that plague us.

We all know the benefits that exercise has on our physical and mental health. Exercise improves physical health and naturally releases endorphins, which the body produces to relieve stress and pain. Endorphins also promote optimism, which aids the coaching process by strengthening a solution-focused mindset.

Numerous studies demonstrate the benefits of being in nature, such as;

  • Reduce fear and stress

  • Increase vitamin D (if it's sunny), a natural mood booster,

  • Help sleep, since natural light is a regulator   of melatonin.

Search any reputable mental health and wellness website and you will discover that one of the number one tips is to get outdoors as it is a natural mood booster.

Take me with you!

If we are geographically close to each other, I propose a coaching process that includes walking and talking together. If you want, you can choose the place, or if you prefer, I will choose for you.

Health and safety above all

In this type of services, both you and I (coachee and coach) are responsible for our own health and safety. An important requirement in these sessions will be to share with the other person the area in which we will walk (eg a park, some streets or a small forest). NEVER choose a route that is too physically challenging (eg walking along the edge of a cliff, or along a busy highway).
